Club Timer · Effective October 18, 2026

In short

Club Timer is a speech and meeting timer for clubs, available as an iPhone/iPad app, an Android app and a website at timer.luklalogic.ai. It is published by Luka Logic LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information, in every version.

Information that stays on your device

Everything you enter or the app produces is saved in the app's local storage on your device and is never sent to us:

You can delete it at any time with Settings → Clear meeting, by clearing the website's data in your browser, or by uninstalling the app.

Microphone and speech recognition

When Live analysis is on and a speaker is being timed, the app listens through the microphone to count words, filler words and repeats. Speech is converted to text by the speech-recognition service built into your device or browser:

The resulting text is analysed on your device and stored only there. We never receive, store or share audio or transcripts. You can turn Live analysis off at any time and still use the timer. Microphone and speech-recognition permission is requested only when you first use it.

Camera, photos and files

The camera is used only when you choose to photograph a printed agenda or scan a meeting's QR code. Agenda photos and PDFs are read on your device and are not uploaded. The first time you import a photo, the app downloads the text-recognition engine and its language data from a public content-delivery network (jsDelivr); only the download request is sent, never your photo.

Live sharing (optional)

If you tap Share live view, the app uploads a snapshot of the meeting to our server so others can follow it with the link, QR code or meeting code. The snapshot contains:

It never contains transcripts, audio or photos. Anyone with the link or code can view it, so only share it with your meeting. The snapshot is deleted from the server as soon as you tap Stop sharing, and automatically 24 hours after its last update. Please make sure the people you add as speakers are comfortable with their names being shown to meeting viewers.

When someone joins a shared meeting, they enter a display name (any name; "Guest" is fine). The server stores that name with a random participant id (not a device or account identifier), their role in that meeting (viewer or co-host), when they joined and were last seen, and any meeting changes they make as a co-host. The host sees the names of the people following and can make someone a co-host or remove them. All of this is deleted when the host stops sharing, when the host removes that person, or automatically 24 hours after the meeting's last update.

Speaker nudges (optional, apps only). If you tap This is me on your speaker card in a shared meeting, the app asks for permission to show notifications and sends your device's push notification token (issued by Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging) to our server, linked to your participant record and that speaker. While you are timed, the host's app reports each signal change and our server asks Apple or Google to deliver one, two or three notifications to your phone (and paired watch) at yellow, red and over time. The token is used for nothing else, and it is deleted when you tap Not me, when the host removes you or stops sharing, when Apple or Google reports it invalid, or automatically 24 hours after the meeting's last update.

If you tap This is me on a speaker in your own meeting, your phone schedules the nudges itself as local notifications. Nothing is sent to us or to Apple or Google for this.

Report a problem. If something in a shared meeting is inappropriate or you need help, use Report a problem in the app (it opens our support page) or email [email protected].

Service providers

ProviderPurpose
CloudflareHosts the website and the live-sharing service. Like any web host it processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Apple / Google / your browserOn-device or platform speech recognition, as described above.
Apple Push Notification service / Google Firebase Cloud MessagingDeliver speaker nudges to the phone of a speaker who tapped This is me; they receive the device token and the notification text (signal and speaker name).
jsDelivrDelivers the text-recognition engine and language data for photo agenda import.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Exports

CSV files, PDF summaries and emailed summaries are created on your device and go only where you send them.

Children

Club Timer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Because we keep no accounts and store meeting data only on your device (or briefly, when you share), you control it directly: stop sharing to delete the shared copy and everyone's participant record immediately, remove a person from your meeting under Share → People following, and clear the meeting or uninstall to remove local data. For any privacy question or request, contact us below.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version at this address.
